I did the editing, colour grading, and VFX shots for a short fan-film of Batman & Robin, styled like an old 80's lost-episode VHS tape. The biggest VFX work involved creating opening shots of the cityscape skyline of Gotham City, a camera fly-through of a back alley into a villain's club, a pan down into an alley with the Batmobile, and creating a library for a post-credit villain reveal. Secondary VFX work involved some screen replacements, painting out background objects, adding small particle effects , etc...
For the big sweeping environment shots, I used UE4.22 with the new RTX raytracing features to get nearly realtime results which looked close to a full pathtraced render. Environments were made using a variety of asset packs, Quixel Megascans, Sketchfab models, Substance Source, etc... with my role being to act as set designer and cinematographer to create the atmosphere and mood of the scene from those existing models and textures.
